First of all, my apologies for my long hiatus. I’ve been running around the towns and cities within the Kanto area for the past few months. In one of my marathons, I’ve come upon this tiny ramen shop in Sōka (草加).
Talk about ramen!
Now, this is no ordinary ramen. It’s what they call a “salad ramen” as you can see, instead of the normal chasyu, nori, and the other what-have-yous in a ramen, we have salad as a topping.
Forgive me as I’ve forgotten the names of these wonderful bowls of noodles. The soup was not at all thick, but the taste was light and it didn’t overpower the taste of the salad and the accompanying chicken meat. The chef / shop owner (I guess) took time in explaining the contents of the ramen he was preparing, especially to the first time visitors.
Another thing I liked about this shop is that they serve lemon water! ^^
Unfortunately, they don’t have their own website but they have,
Everything is in Japanese, including the vending machine. But if you’re feeling adventurous, go ahead and give them a try.
